Hey, all! River & I just finished another alpha test for Main Street, so I'm stopping in to share the progress.
Last time I stopped by to introduce the Pet Shop store theme and now we officially have FOUR shop themes up and running.
Below are some pictures and descriptions to help you get acquainted!
Pet Store: A fierce moneymaker filled with adorable animals. Players will be able to purchase shop furnishings (shelves) to allow them to sell dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and assorted reptiles.
Wedding Boutique: A slow earning but powerful shop filled with expensive wedding necessities. Players will be able to purchase shop furnishings (shelves) to allow them to sell flower bouquets, tiaras, jeweled wedding rings, wedding bands, tuxedos (groomsmen & groom), and dresses (bridesmaid & bride).
Taco Shop: A middle moneymaker packed with delicious tacos. Players will be able to purchase shop furnishings (shelves) to allow them to sell taco toppings, hard shell tacos, soft shell tacos, spicy tacos, nachos, and soda.
Bakery: A rival moneymaker to the pet shop is the sweet smelling bakery. Players will be able to purchase shop furnishings (shelves) to allow them to sell croissants, pies, bread, cakes, muffins, and cupcakes.
For now, these four themes will be the main shop selections in the base game. They are tons of fun and I hope you enjoy running these stores as much as we have in the alpha tests!
