About Main Street

Main Street is a cozy multiplayer life sim about opening and running your own boutique in a little shared town.

Start with a storefront, then make it yours. Decorate it, stock the shelves, set up displays, cook things to sell, and hire your friends or an NPC to help behind the counter. The better your shop does, the more money and popularity you have to keep building it up.

Of course, you need something to put on those shelves.

Head out into town to pick flowers, shake fruit out of trees, go fishing, shop from NPC vendors, or just wander around with everyone else. Bring what you find back to your store, sell it as-is, or turn some of it into something more valuable first.

Main Street is a persistent shared world, so there isn't a match timer waiting to kick you out. Stop in for ten minutes to check your shop and catch a fish, or spend the evening moving furniture three pixels to the left because somehow that matters now.

Controls

• WASD / Arrow Keys to move
• Shift to run
• Click to interact
• When fishing, use the mouse to cast, hook, follow the fish, and reel it in without letting the line tension get too high.
• When shaking fruit trees, hold Shake and move the basket to catch the fruit.
• Inventory, chat, minimap, and the world map are available through the UI.

Main Street is built around actually owning a boutique in a shared multiplayer town.

Your store isn't just a menu or a passive money generator. You choose a storefront, decorate the space, stock the shelves with things you've gathered or prepared, and can even hire your friends to work there.

Everything else feeds back into that. Go fishing because you need something to sell. Shake fruit trees because your shelves are looking empty. Wander into town because you need supplies, then get distracted and forget why you left the shop in the first place.

Main Street is free to play in your browser with no download and no energy timers deciding whether you're allowed to go fishing today. An account is required to save your character, shop, and progress.
